Silver Spurs purchased Boomernic on September 28, 2006 and on December 2, 2006 we were honored at the Futurity in Oklahoma City to bring Boomernic into the arena where Boomernic was formally inducted into the Million Dollar Sire Club and received his Million Dollar Sire Award.
This was certainly a proud day for us and a long overdue milestone for Boomernic. What made the Futurity even more exciting for us was the fantastic showing Boomernic's offspring made at the Futurity and the Canadian Reiners Breeders Classic
At the 2011 NRHA Derby Boomernic was inducted into the NRHA Hall of Fame, this was a proud moment for Silver Spurs Equine, who, after the phenomenal offspring winnings from Conquistador Whiz's offspring in 2010, become the only ranch to own and stand 2 Million Dollar Sires.
