Boomernic's breeding book is forever closed to the public. However, you can enjoy Boomernic's winning legacy by purchasing a specially bred "Boomernic" directly from Silver Spurs. It has been proven many times that an investment in Boomernic is money in the bank.

As you navigate through our website you will discover that, while the cornerstone of our breeding program naturally are the world famous BOOMERNIC and CONQUISTADOR WHIZ, Silver Spurs has four stallions by the other Million Dollar Sires and three stallions by the world's finest cutting sires. With these stallions and our handpicked mares, we have created our own elite line of reining horse.

Conquistador Whiz - Ranked the #2 Jr. Reining Sire for two years, Sire of the NRHA's highest money earning horse, KR Lil Conquistador with over $459,000 in career winnings.

Conquistador Whiz is descended from a long line of reining royalty: Grandsire, Million Dollar Sire - Topsail Cody, and sired by 5 Million Dollar Sire - Topsail Whiz. With over $750,000 in offspring earnings, Conquistador whiz is clearly on his way to becoming one of the NRHA's next Million Dollar Sires. When he does become a Million Dollar Sire it will be the first time is NRHA history that a grandfather, father, and son have all become Million Dollar Sires.

TRAINING PROGRAM

Where the old school meets the future.

In addition to our horses, what makes Silver Spurs so special is its Training Director, the one and only Brett Stone. While Brett really needs no introduction, he is a 26-time World and National Reining Champion as well as the winner of the most coveted title in the sport of Reining - the winner of the 1992 NRHA Reining Futurity which he won on none other than Boomernic. Brett's proudest achievement though was when he conducted the Reining Demonstration Clinic at the 1996 Reining Futurity. Brett was intricately involved with the designing and planning of Silver Spurs from its inception and is determined to make it the premier breeding and training facility for the sport of Reining in the United States. Brett has done so much for the world of Reining and seeing him doing what he has elevated to a form of art, training a horse to become champion Reiner, is truly an experience that no serious Reiner should miss.

HORSE SALES

When you've seen all the rest and now want the best.

Beginning in the fall of 2009 Silver Spurs will conduct its annual prospect sale. During the year, however, we will offer horses for sale when Brett says they are ready. You can find them in the "Horses for Sale" section of our website.

All Boomernic prospects purchased from Silver Spurs are eligible for the Silver Spurs Boomernic Incentive Award and it would be our pleasure to present you with a $50,000, or $30,000 check each December at the NRHA Futurity in Oklahoma City.

All Conquistador Whiz foals bred from the 2009 breeding season through the 2013 Breeding Seasons are eligible for the Silver Spurs Conquistador Whiz Futurity Incentive Award.
